The Independent Students' Association of the University of Gdańsk once again warmly invites everyone willing to share their ‘elixir of life’ to the autumn edition of Wampiriada – a blood donation campaign for students, staff, and volunteers from outside the University of Gdańsk. Poland’s largest student blood donation campaign will take place on the Oliwa and Sopot campuses from 12 to 16 October 2026.
To become a donor, simply bring your ID card and turn up at the venue. The day before donating blood, you should avoid alcohol, fatty foods and strenuous exercise; instead, make sure you get a good night’s sleep. On the day of the event, it is recommended that you eat a nutritious breakfast and drink around 2 litres of water.
You will be able to donate blood on special buses in the car parks of the University of Gdańsk on the following dates:
- 12 October 2026 - Faculty of Social Sciences (Oliwa campus)
- 13 October 2026 - Faculty of Biology (Oliwa campus)
- 14 October 2026 - Faculty of Economics (Sopot campus)
- 16 October 2026 - Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (Oliwa campus)
You can donate blood between 9.00 am and 2.00 pm.
