Foreign Languages Department of the University of Gdańsk
- provides English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese classes, with inter-cultural elements to students of all faculties on undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate and doctoral courses;
- offers classes in Polish language to international students. The University of Gdańsk is the first university in Poland to have a generally accessible e-learning programme for teaching Polish to international students;
- organizes certificate examinations for the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie in Paris;
- runs Examinations Centre for ÖSD – the Austrian diploma in German, confirming students’ fluency in general and specialist German (Wirtschaftssprache Deutsch – German in business applications);
- organizes examinations in business English, based on an agreement with the British Council.
- runs D.E.L.E. examinations on the basis of an agreement with the Cervantes Institute in Warsaw and the University of Gdańsk.
